下面是老外對hose和tube在表示軟管時的區(qū)分。大意就是hose表示外接的軟管,一頭固定在水龍頭等地方,在使用時一般用于固定搭配,如花園澆水用的軟管,空壓機管子等。

Although hoses can be used in many applications, i think most people would probably think of a garden hose first and an air compressor hose next.

People would look at you a bit strangely if you walked into a garden center and asked for 100’ of tubing but they would know exactly what you meant if you said 100’ hose.

Hoses always come with some sort of coupling/attachment fittings on both ends. one end couples to a tap, the other end couples to a sprinkler, irrigation system, nozzle or other distribution device of some kind. |
